How can the simplicity and elegance of the Stan Smith be enhanced while remaining true to its DNA?
This question became the starting point for my exploration of the adidas Stan Smith Lo Pro.

My goal was to re-energise the iconic silhouette by introducing a more elevated silhouette, creating a design that feels unexpected. My design inspiration was inspired by japaneese fashion and especially the work of comme des garcons and Junya watanabe. I explored new proportions, refined pattern cutting, updated constructions, and a softer, lower profile look.

A clean white and black palette, minimalist aesthetic, and iconic perforated Three Stripes. Material choices and finishes were carefully selected to feel premium and gives a deconstructed look.
